Entering an apprenticeship scheme with us involves working towards the role of a fully-fledged professional, earning a salary, whilst also being able to maintain a sense of academic achievement. You’ll be supported every step of the way, by your line manager and mentor. Working with our Capital Design teams you will be involved in supporting the software engineering team in all stages of the project lifecycle.

ENTRY CRITERIA 

 

This apprenticeship standard is at Level 3 (equivalent to 2 A-Level qualifications). You will require 5 GCSE’s, including English and Maths and a science at grade level 9-4 / A*- C.

 

 

ROLE EXPECTATIONS POST APPRENTICESHIP  

 

  • By the end of this programme, you will take up a Software Development Technician role, where you will be able to put your skills to action 

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN 

 

  • To write clean, simple, and maintainable code.
  • To develop software engineering skills
  • To collaborate with a team that is focused on your skills and development. 
  • To develop correct solutions to our customers.
