Our Summer Placement Programme offers the perfect blend of personal and professional development, exposing you to the core of our business. The 8 or 12 week programme will allow you to work on real life challenges and projects that impact our core business functions. 

Business Operations at Severn Trent focuses on ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our business. This includes managing day-to-day operations, overseeing projects, driving business growth, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Business Operations team works closely with all departments to support strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency. 

Through working in Business Operations, you will gain great oversight of an interesting regulated and growing business. The aim of the programme is to give you awareness and insight into the operations of a regulated and growing business.

HOW WILL THE PROGRAMME WORK? 

You will be based at Severn Trent Centre in Coventry, the heart of our operating patch. You will be able to complete either an 8 week or 12 week placement depending on your preference as well as what the business area currently has on from a project perspective. 

In this exciting programme, you will have the chance to discuss your development and career ambitions in your 1-1 meetings with business leads, mentors, and the New Talent Team. 

 

ABOUT THE PLACEMENT 

Location: Severn Trent Centre, Coventry, CV1 2LZ 

Programme Duration: 8 or 12 weeks 

Starting Salary: £22,011 pro rata 

Entry Criteria: You can be studying any discipline at University  

You must be currently studying at a UK university and be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
