EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Here at Severn Trent, we’re on the look out for our new Communications Planning and Insights Lead. In this new role, you will be the central coordination point for our multidisciplined Communications function, working in line with our overarching strategy - you will be the lead for ensuring work is scheduled & resourced effectively, briefed into areas of the team, all the while, using correct insight to be able to evaluate the outputs of our work.
Managing a team of three to four professionals, you will have responsibility for ensuring they have access to all relevant customer data, insight and trends to inform campaigns. There will also be responsibility for keeping track of performance, reporting performance and evaluating effectiveness of output and activity, with you working closely with the wider Comms SMT.
In this specialist role, we’ll be looking for you to keep the whole of the Comms Team on track with our Strategy Delivery and Performance. You’ll lead a robust governance process and oversee a weekly meeting rhythm, ensuring our Head of Communications is kept aware of focus areas throughout the year in terms of our performance and how we are doing against the planned strategy.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be a success in this role, we’ll be looking for you to have a proven experience in programme and project management and an ability to bring different and complex work streams together in one delivery plan. We’ll expect a proven track record at delivering 360 Comms activity for big projects, with an understanding of the nuances and challenges across each discipline which will impact delivery.
An ability and skill to bring people together on shared objectives, while being able to set clear RACI’s succeed will be a key attribute, as will the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at a senior level, You’ll need a confidence to be clear on recommendations and to drive better performance.
