Corporate Reporting Manager
We are looking for someone to join our small, highly committed team to deliver the Group’s programme of statutory and regulatory reporting to support our core value of ‘Being a Company You Can Trust’. You will ensure that all of our reporting obligations are delivered to an exceptional standard, on time and in a way that is meaningful for our stakeholders.
You will be working as part of the busy Company Secretariat Team (‘Co Sec’) and report to the Group Company Secretary. You will work closely with senior stakeholders in the Group, including regular contact and liaison with the Board, STEC, SMT and external regulators. This is a critical role for the Group, ensuring delivery of the Group’s corporate reporting obligations in planful manner.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Corporate Reporting
You’ll lead delivery of the year end programme of work (including delivery of the Severn Trent Plc Annual Report, Severn Trent Water and Hafren Dyfrdwy Annual Performance Reports, Sustainability Report and Green Recovery Report), managing senior internal and external stakeholders – including the Board, STEC, SMT and external partners such as design agencies, external auditor, external assurers.
Co-ordination of the development and articulation of key messages across the reports, ensuring a consistent tone of voice and addressing the information needs of external stakeholders, is fundamental part of the role. This will involve liaison with multiple internal stakeholders to manage data inputs (including quantitative and narrative input collating these inputs into cohesive disclosures throughout the Group’s suite of annual reporting.
You will also proactively seek and present improvements to processes and controls, providing effective recommendations and co-ordinating those improvements across key teams within the business.
Board Liaison and Support
You’ll support the Group Company Secretary on all matters related to the Severn Trent Plc Board of Directors, including maintaining regular contact with the Board, CEO and CFO, keeping them informed of Board and Board Committee activity.
You will be responsible for managing Board logistics as they relate to Board and Committee meetings, Board member trips and other important Board off-site events.
Subsidiary Company Management
You’ll assist the Senior Assistant Company Secretary in ensuring the accuracy of our statutory registers and assist with the preparation of documentation relating to the annual statutory accounts for subsidiary companies within the Group
