EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We are looking for an ESG Finance & Reporting Analyst to join on a 12 month fixed term basis, where you will support in delivering a core part of Severn Trent’s strategy, to be performance driven and sustainability led.
In this role, you will assist in delivering high quality financial information within our sustainability and climate disclosures.
You will drive a strong collaboration and quality reporting culture, with both Net Zero and Sustainability teams, underpinned by healthy challenge and control.
Other key accountabilities for the role are:
- Support in providing updates to experts and stakeholders with slide decks and supporting data. Turning information into insight, landing messages and influencing strategies.
- Interface and build cross-business relationships with key stakeholders in Sustainability, Asset Strategy, Capital and Engineer teams as well as the wider finance community, to help shape external reporting content and improve transparency.
- Support with Finance and wider business comms, helping to embed the culture of sustainability across the business
- Project manage and governance of disclosure processes to coordinate the delivery of high-quality content and ensure effective assurance and review processes are in place
- Drafting and editing external disclosures relating to climate, sustainability and wider ESG, such as TCFD disclosures, EU Taxonomy, TNFD, and content for the ARA.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will have proven experience relating to sustainability and ESG
We will be looking for you to work collaboratively across departments to deliver successful outcomes and have a commercial mindset.
Have the ability to understand linkages between complex data sets, regulatory frameworks and focus on priorities to deliver company objectives would be advantageous.

- Salary of £45,000 - £57,000, dependant on experience
