This is where you will come in.  As our finance performance analyst, you will deliver information to help drive improvement in our Capital Delivery business which will enable improved programme performance. You will be charged with providing a robust, insightful, and balanced view across the area’s regulatory, performance and financial objectives.  We’ll be looking for you to be a motivated and engaging individual, ensuring a high-quality monthly reporting rhythm, with the ability to challenge existing practices and identify improvements in both the short and longer term.

In this business-critical role, you will be partnering our business leaders to ensure the delivery of capital programmes through your insightful analysis and challenge. You will be charged with the preparation and presentation of Capital Delivery reporting to business area’s strategic leadership team, Portfolio Boards and other approval bodies, ensuring that all messaging is on point and understood for the growth of the business.

 

You will be supporting the Capital Delivery MI strategy by leading on projects to drive improvements in the reporting which is provided.  You will lead on month-end reporting for key business areas and providing regular forecasts / budgets, this is where your technical accounting background will come into its own.  You’ll also provide analysis and insight on monthly, annual performance against pre-set targets on such things as outputs and finances, while also driving actions within delivery areas where activity is off track.

 

With your analytical mind you will be called upon to Identify key risks and opportunities to annual performance commitments and work with our delivery teams to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.  You will also facilitate the production of robust forecasts, budgets and long term business plans.

 

You will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner.
