EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a Forecasting & Planning Expert who will be responsible for producing forecasting and capacity planning models, and data analysis to support the capacity planning process for Field Operations teams.
The role will partner to partner and engage with various stakeholders to drive decision making and business improvement.
You'll be based in our state of the art Coventry, STC site however travel to Derby where the majority of the Workforce Planning team is based will be expected. You’ll work alongside our 280 strong Workforce Planning & Optimisation Team who all love what they do.
And if that wasn’t enough, you will provide robust plans that show risk and opportunity, with clear recommendations on how resource and demand can be optimised, across both the long-and-short term planning cycles within a set framework.
In turn delighting our customers & making a real difference across our region.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will support and run the demand forecasting and capacity planning process, engaging with stakeholders in all matters resource planning related. Your knowledge and expertise are equally as important as how you drive your findings and engage with your colleagues across the business.
Running structured review process of performance vs plan, through insight and root cause analysis, to identify risks and opportunities to both service, cost, and employee engagement. Proactively balancing resources across operational teams and support in creating a high performing team.
You will produce a rolling 3 month to 3-year plan, ownership of planning assumptions and the communication to key operational stakeholders for sign off. Responsible to produce accurate forecasts and models.
We’ll be pulling on your analytical skills daily as you’ll use data & other sources of information received from multiple resources to interpret and create high quality field operations within our workforce management system. It is important that you have the capability and want to be curious around any data sources and ensure it is up to date and accurate as timely decisions are made based on the correct assumptions.
Proven experience in influencing senior stakeholders to deliver operational improvements. It is important you are proactive in the use of continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques to identify issues, solutions and implement and sustain best practice solutions.
Understanding of data visualisation tools and methods such as PowerBI are essential.
