We are looking for a Performance & Analytics specialist who is responsible for reviewing and providing performance data and insights to the Mains Renewal management team and wider organisation. This role is also responsible for financial journaling, ensuring costs are allocated to the correct budget lines. The Performance & Analytics Specialist is critical to driving continuous improvements throughout the Mains Renewal function.

 

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW  

 

In this role you’ll provide clear performance metrics and reports as well as financial impacts of changes to individual schemes. This role will drive a culture of performance by challenging the business with the data and reports it produces, delivering a customer focused culture. Furthermore, the role will focus on a specific area of Mains Renewal activity, providing data and insights, and feeding these into various stakeholders.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Performance & Analytics Manager, this role be one of a small team of Performance & Analytics Specialists for the Mains Renewal function.
  • This role will ensure performance & analytics are managed consistently across all areas of the mains renewal programme working collectively with its team to drive standards of data and reporting.
  • Performance is provided by this dedicated resource; this allows construction to focus on delivery out in the field and provides them with insights to current performance.
  • This role will ensure performance meeting preparation is done in advance, to provide the construction teams with the details they require prior to performance meetings.
  • This role will have a financial focus, ensuring that the programme is delivered in a cost-effective way for customers.
  • Will be required to look for continuous improvements & have a degree of freedom to make improvement. Overhauling and developing regular, automated reporting to provide insightful finger-on-the-pulse monitoring of key performance indicators and identify risks/opportunities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of taking the lead in diagnosing business issues and working with the business to deliver performance improvements. Experience in effectively using Power BI and Excel will be required for role. Having worked within the utilities or water industry would be beneficial. Full UK Driving License will be essential as this role will be travelling to different sites across a region.
