EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have multiple opportunities, including two permanent and one 12 month fixed-term contract, for you to join us a Senior Project Manager at Severn Trent. You will be directly accountable for the end-to-end delivery of one or more projects within one of our exciting programmes. You will deliver your projects aligned with our established Project Life Cycle, in line with our Project Delivery Framework.
We will look for you to build lasting relationships to effectively manage your key stakeholders during the lifetime of the project. You’ll do this by communicating effectively on project deliverables, sharing updates in the relevant governance forums and ensuring the business change is sustained and embedded to ensure the benefits can be realised.
You will design and manage your own work and the priorities of the project team so you will need the ability to provide clear direction and define the appropriate activities to ensure that the business change delivers to time, cost and quality criteria.
In this role, you will matrix manage a series of change professionals and subject matter experts. It will be your job to ensure that they and the projects in your control are on the right path to deliver the desired outcomes whilst delivering a fantastic customer and stakeholder experience.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be successful in the role you will have proven project or change management experience, along with qualifications such as Prince 2, Agile or MSP would be highly desirable.
You will be a self-starter, organised and have brilliant written and verbal communication skills.
