Senior PMO Analyst

We have a great opportunity for a Senior PMO Analyst within our Technology & Transformation PMO Team on a 12 month Maternity leave cover contract.

 

With a strong background in data analytics and experience with Power Apps, you’ll have attention to detail and enjoy analysing and manipulating data to provide insightful reporting capabilities at Project, Programme and Strategic levels; assuring all information is based on a single source of truth.

 

Pulling on your experience of working within a PMO or project environment, you’ll directly contribute to the successful delivery of change using knowledge of both traditional and agile methodologies. Improving Project & Portfolio Management capability through defining frameworks and standards which draw on industry best practice. 

 

Being an excellent communicator and facilitator with the ability to flex style and build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is essential in this role. As you’ll act as a single point of contact and senior level of support for the Technology project and programme management community.

 

Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

  • Developing and embedding approved, fit for purpose, frameworks, standards and templates to support traditional and agile methodologies.
  • Analyse project data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve project performance.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Driving consistency through the support and management of selected tooling.
  • Creating and delivering training and coaching to the change delivery community and internal team members.
  • Facilitating workshops and governance forums, including for resource management.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

We’ll look for you to have proven experience of working in a PMO or project environment at an Enterprise/Portfolio level, supporting traditional and agile methodologies and also have a track-record of documenting, training and embedding new ways of working.  We’ll love you to be comfortable with analysing large data sets, building reports that provide insight driving decision making at a senior level. 

We’ll want you to be an excellent communicator and facilitator and have the ability to flex style and build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
