EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We out looking for a Senior Planner to join our PMO Team. We are looking for someone to organise, develop, manage, and report on project plan schedules on behalf of the programme delivery teams in our Capital Delivery function.
The Senior Planner will form a crucial part of our PMO planning team, you’ll support and mentor several Planners within the team to develop their skills whilst working closely with both our design and delivery teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure all in house and third-party schedules comply with the PMO planning policies and procedures.
You’ll apply resources to schedules which will support resource management, apply budget costs to enable EVM reporting and monitor, update and progress the schedules at regular intervals.
As well as this you’ll develop contingency plans and report actual performance and variance against forecast outcomes whilst carrying out detailed analysis of the project critical path and identify activities that hinder the timely delivery of the capital programme.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You’ll join us as an experienced project planner looking to work in an innovative and challenging environment, have good level of experience working on NEC contracts, and significant experience in the successful scheduling or project and programme plans.
You will have an expert working knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6/Microsoft Project and a strong knowledge of contract management, and both financial and commercial awareness. In this role you’ll thrive off a busy, fast paced programme environment.
