Our Network Control team is excited to offer an opportunity for the role of Sewer Sensor Optimisation Specialist.


In this key role you will be responsible for ensuring that our 23,000 sewer sensor monitors are fully operational and supporting flooding and pollution ODI performance whilst positively impacting on all waste drivers. 


The key accountabilities of this role will include:

 

  • All sewer sensor loggers are maintained and provide accurate and reliable data. 

  • Technical and performance management of the logger maintenance contractor to ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are on track. 

  • Ensure that no more than 5% of the sensor estate is quiet 

  • Working with County Managers to ensure that operational interventions do not impact on sensor performance 

 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
 
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in translating complex data into actionable insights, managing contractor performance, and engaging with senior management. 


Additionally, you should possess a continuous improvement mindset, be proficient in creating detailed reports and dashboards in Power BI, and be confident in using Geospatial Systems (GIS) like MapInfo and ARC (GIS) analyser.
