EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

  

We’re looking for a Systems and Process Specialist to join our team, where you’ll be responsible for System and Process administration, and providing first line support to colleagues in our Capital and Commercial Services directorate in the use of our systems (SAP Ariba & ECC) and processes.

 

You’ll collaborate internally and externally to resolve system and process queries, issues and blockers to successfully deliver the relevant support and resolution required for colleagues and key stakeholders to operate within the source to settle remit.

 

In this role, you’ll also work in partnership with colleagues from relevant business areas and 3rd party solution providers to support system functionality best practice and enhancement releases.

 

Other key accountabilities include:

 

  • Catalogue management and support, to drive catalogue adoption and utilisation
  • Strategy development to initiate improvements in ways to buy implementation, adoption and roll out.
  • Master Data management, providing analysis, recommendations, and ways to buy support.
  • Supplier enablement support, to ensure suppliers are onboarded successfully onto SAP Ariba/ECC for procurement activity
  • Maintain and keep up to date ‘how to’ user guides and SOPs (standard operating procedures) to ensure users can complete business objectives and tasks.
  • Support the team, to collectively identify appropriate KPI (Key Performance Indicators) measures.
  • Provide training to Severn Trent colleagues to drive system adoption.
  • System administration and configuration of SAP Ariba fields/forms/master data/user interface/templates and process, to ensure users have the right functionality to perform their role/s.
  • Participate in Procure to Pay/Ways to buy projects and related initiatives, contributing to process improvement

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

You’ll join our team with the ability to use a variety of applications including SAP, Excel and other Microsoft Office functions.

 

It’s expected that you’ll be able to demonstrate positive, profession and constructive behaviours in line with our core values, as well as possessing strong organisational, communication and influencing skills.

 

To be successful, you’ll be naturally inquisitive and be able to provide robust challenge to stakeholders of various levels. You’ll have a continuous improvement mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve processes, make them more efficient and reduce risk.

 

We’d like you to have experience of facilitating group sessions of various sizes and complexity, working to tight deadlines and being capable of prioritising your workload.
