EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

Due to Maternity leave within our structure, we’re looking to hire a Test Team Manager on a 12-month contract position.  We’re looking for you to manage and lead a team of Test Professionals who are delivering  high-quality technology solutions as part of our commitment to the wider business.

 

In this role you will take responsibility for the Test Strategy across the Technology department, this will include Functional, Non-Functional and Automation aspects as well as using your resource (both permanent & Partnership solutions) to ensure the teams skills & knowledge are kept current and in line with the Business and Technology Strategies.

 

You will also be responsible for the Performance, Development and Health, Safety & Wellbeing of the direct team.

 

Other key accountabilities are:-

 

  • Utilising an empowered team to deliver and implement the Approach at Programme and Team level
  • Takes ownership and champions Quality Assurance best practices used for Testing through the Technology teams and wider business.
  • Line management of the Testing community, (both Partners & Permanent staff) and driving the department wide Centre of Excellence.

We’ll be looking for you to have people management skills and experience, including tackling behavioural issues, performance management, setting objectives.  You will need to have strong leadership and motivating skills including the ability to empower, support and coach as a servant leader and it would be great if you had a knowledge of ‘Technology’ and the functions within to be able to utilise the team/s so to maximise ways of working.
