As part of our growth plans for AMP8, we are currently recruiting for a Cost Estimator to join our Commercial Estimating Team.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW  

 

Reporting to the Lead Estimator, the Cost Estimator will play a key role in ensuring target prices are consistently set in line with the commercial models for our various delivery teams. You will also be involved in advising the Capital Delivery and Commercial teams on pricing and cost capture software, and you will also liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on pricing issues and procedures as required.

 

The Cost Estimator will support our Delivery and Design teams in value engineering to find the best value solutions for both our customers and the environment. You will support with producing project baselines, setting target prices, generating and maintain pricing tools and assist in contract negotiations.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

With this being a key role involved in £6 billion of contractor services, it is expected that you will have experience of project estimating, proven experience of providing cost advice and must have the ability to influence key stakeholders. It is essential that you have knowledge of NEC contracts within the water sector or a similar industry. You will also have the ability to influence decisions using data analysis and will have experience liaising with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
