Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for Assistant Consultant Manager to join our Water Infra team in Shelton or Derby.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Infra Design team where you`ll work collaboratively on a variety of interesting and challenging projects. It’s a role which will give you plenty of scope for learning and development.
You will be assisting in the management of smaller scale capital projects. Support the project team in ensuring the project’s design deliverables are achieved on time, within cost and to agreed quality standards.
You will assist delivery team and provide technical input in the preparation and submission of Business Cases and gate papers to relevant governance bodies, Establish and maintain a rhythm of meetings to monitor progress, identify issues and ensure the implementation of remedial actions. Ensure project/contract correspondence is recorded in writing.
You`ll also need to be confident to liaise with project stakeholders, verbally, and written, and be able to build relationships with colleagues and the supply chain for the benefit of the project.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
The right skills are important, however if you have the right character, positivity, urgency and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.
However, the ideal candidate would need to be able to drive consultant performance by utilising the NEC 4 suite of contracts so NEC4 experience is essential, be aware of key roles of CDM in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations and ensuring Severn Trent discharges its duties. Effective communication and presentation skills.
Strong personal discipline, able to operate within boundaries and parameters (project standards, H&S regulations etc.), Clear thinking and able to make educated judgements and decisions in the face of ambiguity.
