Consultant Project Manager

We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Water Infra department as a Consultant Project Manager

While in this role, you will play a key role in leading and managing the project team and project lifecycle (from business case approval to design completion) ensuring all project deliverables are achieved on time, within cost and to agreed quality standards.

 

You will scope and create project plans with input from the framework consultant, and perform the role of NEC4 Service Manager (or elements of it) when delegated by the Design Manager (Delegation of Authority to be confirmed)

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

Based in one of our Capital and Commercial Services offices (Raynesway) and reporting directly to the Design Manager, the Project Manager will be working alongside project engineers, project coordinators, design engineers and other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the Water Infra design programme, managing multiple Consultants through Feasibility, Outline and Detail design schemes.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

Ideally either degree qualified in a technical engineering discipline or a qualified Project Manager with the APM (Association of Project Managers) or working towards completing these achievements. You will be a forward thinking and innovative project manager capable of managing multiple capital engineering and construction works. You will have experience of managing NEC4 projects, with a proven track record of project planning and management and budgetary responsibility.

 

You will be a dynamic and collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
