Reinstatement Team Manager

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW  

 

Working in an enthusiastic and highly motivated team, across the whole of the HD area, the Reinstatement Manager is responsible for Managing the welfare of the Reinstatement teams, managing the workload and coordinating the reinstatement process across HD Water Network Operations.

 

This exciting role is key in ensuring the Wrexham/ Chester and Powys area is fully compliant with its legal obligations with Traffic Management Act (TMA) and the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) which is monitored by the Highway Authority within each Local Authority

 

Using your expert knowledge you will be able to challenge TMA fines with the Highway Authority, to negotiate charges, be responsible for county performance and ensure all TMA fines are validated and ensure any payments that need to be made are done so in line with set SLAs and adhere to legislative guidance.

 

Please note, Teams are based both in Newtown Powys and in Wrexham. 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE 

 

 

Some of your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

 

  • Manage the reinstatement team ensuring that the Area is fully compliant with its legal obligations under NRSWA and Code of Practice
  • Liaise regularly with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Managing  the reinstatement  operatives and their activity ensuring work is delivered to a quality standard.
  • Undertake compliance & performance audits on workforce.
  • Act as Area NRSWA expert to ensure compliance with Sections 74, Defects and Coring.
  • Responsibility to have TMA awareness, liaising with the TMA team and local Highways authorities to ensure compliance.
  • Point of contact for identification and verification of existing surface material
  • Manage the relationship with all local Highway Authority staff to discuss and improve performance.
