Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for a Design Services Manager to join our Waste Infrastructure Design team based in Coventry or Shrewsbury
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
An amazing opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for the delivery of the Waste Networks design programme, writing service order, managing and delivering these service order and also Outline detail design schemes.
While in this role, you will play a key role in leading and managing the project team and project lifecycle (from business case approval to design completion) ensuring all project deliverables are achieved on time, within cost and to agreed quality standards.
You will scope and create project plan with input from the framework consultant, and perform the role of NEC Service Manager (or elements of it) when delegated by the Design Manager (Delegation of Authority to be confirmed)
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Ideally either degree qualified in a technical engineering discipline or a qualified Project Manager with the APM (Association of Project Managers) or working towards completing these achievements.
You will be a forward thinking and innovative project manager capable of managing multiple capital engineering and construction works. You will have experience of managing NEC projects, with a proven track record of cost planning and management and budgetary responsibility.
You will be a dynamic and collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
