Want to do the best work of your life? Playing your part in making a big difference to the environment and the communities we serve. Our people make Severn Trent a truly exciting and inclusive place to work – a place where you can be yourself and let your skills shine.

Our purpose is taking care of life’s essentials, but we are also big on making a difference, not just because we should but because we care.

Now on to the opportunity…

We have a role for the right person to work in our busy Property Operations team who provide exceptional customer service to the highest of standards in order to support the staff & visitors on site. If you are dedicated & take pride in all that you do

Then this Facilities Management Site Co-ordinator role is for you!

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

As a Site Co-ordinator, you will be the first point of contact for the staff & visitors on site and will always need to provide the highest standards of customer service. Setting up meeting rooms as and when required, replenishing stock items in communal areas, liaising directly with staff, contractors, cleaners & all external visitors are just some of the activities that you will complete as part of being the ‘front of house’ contact.

You will also carry out relevant work tasks that the Property Operations on-site team are responsible for such as site inductions and statutory checks e.g. for fire alarm testing and the flushing of taps & logging temperatures for legionella compliance. Keeping compliance records up to date for all STW sites in our regional is also a critical activity in order to demonstrate that they are safe and fit for purpose for our colleagues to use.

The Health and Safety of our visitors and fellow employees is imperative to us so you will need to adhere to all Health & Safety standards in everything that you do as well ensuring that our contractors work in a safe manner when they are on site to complete work.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Your brilliant interpersonal skills care and passion for delivering a positive customer experience is what we are looking for as you will be speaking to and helping staff, visitors, and contractors on a daily basis. You will be a reliable and well-organised person who can work both in a team environment and on their own when required. Whilst training will be provided, having an awareness of subjects like COSHH, DSE & office safety would be advantageous as would awareness & experience of FM and property operations activities. Being adept with the Microsoft Office products range is necessary.

Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity and a caring attitude in equal weight.

We want people who show up and roll their sleeves up. Restless spirits who are ready to be part of something bigger, who care, who really care... because when you really care, you’ll go above and beyond. When you really care you don’t just talk about it, you do more.

We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We employ thousands of people from across our community who really care about what they do. Because that is how we do what we do.

And when it comes to inclusion, we’re making sure we keep up the progress with our wonderful working groups – LGBTQ+, Women in Operations & STEM, Disability and Ethnicity; who help us do just that.

We do more, because we care.
