Within our Capital Design Department, we are looking for an Assistant Design Engineer to join our Water Networks team.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
To do this role, ideally you will have an interest in water industry and an awareness of CDM regulations.
Initially you will provide support to Design and Senior Engineers to deliver project to programme, within budget, to the correct quality standards.
To do this role you will need to.
- Work to CDM 2015
- Understand STW H+S standards.
- Build, Drive & Manage your own programme.
- Deliver to agreed timescales.
- Design Clean Water Networks
- Understand hydraulics within a water system.
- Understand pipe connectivity.
- Work with hydraulic Modellers to optimise designs
- Design with carbon reduction in mind
- Prepare Key Deliverable documents
- Undertake site visits
- Attend and input at site meetings
- Develop and build relationships
- Engage & influence stakeholders
- Engage in third party liaison
- Work in a dynamic team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Learn and deliver to current regulations
- Mentor team where appropriate
- Challenge standards
You’ll take projects right through from project inception through optioneering, outline and detailed design and construction support.
