EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

We’re looking for our next Assistant Project Engineer to join the Development Engineering team in Developer Services.

 

The team are an enabler to developer infrastructure projects delivering engineering projects of around £10m per year.

 

In this role, you’ll support the Lead Project Manager and Project Engineers in delivering statutory third party instructed works providing or relocating assets to facilitate development build programmes, and also assisting in the protection of existing assets.

 

Day to day you’ll manage capture of data and maintain reports, be prepared to chair progress meetings, visit development sites and work with our third-party contractors to ensure we deliver projects on time and control their contractual engagement and applications for payment.

 

If successful, you’ll join a team of 20 based in Finham, Coventry and Raynesway, Derby.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

This role could be a step towards becoming an established Project Engineer and so a fantastic opportunity for someone ideally with a keen interest in STEM subjects. You will be assisting in managing our supplychain to deliver capital investment projects to align with our customers time and budget expectations.

 

You’ll have good attention to detail and be thorough in your work.

 

You’ll enjoy working under pressure supporting a combination of smaller, fast turnaround projects through to multi million pound commissions.

 

You’re a self-motivator with a want to deliver and anticipate problems before they arise.
