EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an exciting opportunity to work within our Customer Operations department as a Project Manager.
As part of the AMP8 plan, a new ODI called Business Demand is being introduced. The goal of this ODI is to reduce demand for water from our Non-Household customers to improve the long-term water resources vs demand balance. This reduces the need for water abstraction.
This role will focus on leading on the implementation of projects and continuous improvement activities that support Severn Trent’s strategic ambitions and deliver for our customers. Within this role you will be responsible for planning key activities, capturing lessons learned, and building a compelling case for change with robust, tested assumptions. You will actively engage with the Project Sponsor and manage stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective communication of project deliverables.
This role also focuses on leading and inspiring the Project Team to ensure delivery of the project aligned with the quality, time, and cost criteria. You will identify and monitor project benefits, driving sustainable change with a focus on both current and future needs. Successful business change delivery will involve assessing business impact and making necessary adjustments to processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures, with clear communication, training, and support for employees.
This role will include travel across multiple STW sites; therefore you must have a full UK driving licence.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are looking for a Project Manager with extensive experience leading business change projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the project life cycle, including change and risk management, and a proven track record of delivering sustainable change and associated benefits.
A collaborative work style is essential, as you will contribute to creating an environment where all parties can confidently challenge and deliver better results. You will have significant experience in building strong stakeholder relationships at all levels within the business and be confident in drawing sound conclusions and making suitable recommendations from data analytics and diagnostics.
If you are a proactive leader with a passion for driving successful business change, we would love to hear from you!
