Are you a data enthusiast with a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights?
Join our team as a BI Developer on a 12 month fixed term basis, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
You'll collaborate with the business to understand reporting requirements, develop robust and sustainable reports, and provide support with a focus on Power BI.
You will ensure data governance and integrity for reliable reporting and data-led decisions, and act as a contact for senior management to deliver strategic value reporting and support continuous improvement and strategic objectives.
Further Responsibilities include:
- Provide Power BI coaching to develop performance plans and metrics.
- Cascade best practices, answer queries, and solve problems.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a strategic point of contact for report development.
- Tailor communication for all levels, conveying technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Design compelling Power BI visualisations.
- Understand warehouse models and create Data Requirement Documents (DRD).
- Test reporting solutions and create technical specifications.
- Ensure first and second line assurance of reports.
- Evaluate data accuracy and implement quality improvement processes.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will be Microsoft Power BI certified or working towards certification, with a strong understanding of Power BI security features and Microsoft reporting suites.
You should be proficient in key systems, reporting platforms, and coding languages (e.g., Power BI, DAX, SQL, Data Modelling).
Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills are essential, along with advanced data literacy and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
A proactive, clear thinker with strong planning and organisation skills is highly desired.

- Salary of £37,000 - £55,000, dependant on experience
