EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have a great opportunity for you to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract as an Transformation Project and Change Manager at Severn Trent. Within this role you will lead and implement projects and continuous improvement activities that support our strategic ambitions and deliver exceptional service to our customers. You will drive business change, manage project planning and reporting, and build strong links with business teams to ensure best practices are shared and implemented.
You will be responsible for delivering assigned projects and work-streams through the project life cycle, ensuring that key activities are planned, and lessons learned are captured. We will look for you to build lasting relationships to effectively manage your key stakeholders during the lifetime of the project. You’ll do this by communicating effectively on project deliverables, sharing updates in the relevant governance forums and ensuring the business change is sustained and embedded to ensure the benefits can be realised.
You will design and manage your own work and the priorities of the project team so you will need the ability to provide clear direction and define the appropriate activities to ensure that the business change delivers to time, cost and quality criteria.
Please note this role will include travel with work at various sites / locations across the Severn Trent Water Region.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead business change projects, leveraging extensive knowledge of the project life cycle, including change and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering sustainable change and associated benefits.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style and delivery approach to suit different audiences.
Significant experience in building outstanding stakeholder relationships at all levels within the business is essential. You should be confident in drawing sound conclusions and making suitable recommendations based on data analytics and diagnostics. Additionally, you should have a strong background in coaching, training, and providing feedback at all levels.
